Hello! I am so glad you are here. I am so glad I am here! The photo to the right was taken a few days after my bilateral mastectomies, I was bouncing back and forth in my grief and had cut my hair as an effort to control something... anything.

At the age of 43, I was diagnosed with Stage 3b ER/PR+ Infiltrating Lobular Carcinoma (ILC) with micro-metastasis to the lymph nodes. At the age of 43, I was the healthiest I had ever been, and yet, hiding inside my left breast was a killer diagnosis. I felt betrayed by my body, I felt... well... hopeless, hopeful and everything in between.
